Our AccreditationsThrough the years and in need of continual improvement to our operation, Peter Green Chilled have achieved the following accreditations which we keep current.

BRC – Storage and Distribution

As one of the first companies in the UK to achieve this standard Peter Green Chilled has been able to apply food safety expertise across the business and support our customers’ standard and own certifications in the retail Supply Chain To achieve this standard, Peter Green Chilled staff and the company have a comprehensive HACCP plan in place to ensure food safety for our part in the Supply Chain.

All staff involved in the responsibility of food safety, warehouse staff and fleet drivers have all had food safety training. Managers having attended the Institute of Public Health to partake in courses to ensure we meet this standard. Issues such as hygiene, cleaning, temperature control, maintenance, vehicle breakdown, product recall are all covered in our procedures and system

Health Authority Approval for the handling of Meat: MZ 060

As part of our Food Safety system, both our sites have been approved by the Local Authorities to handle Meat in a controlled environment. Staff have been trained specifically to meet this standard and those of the industry.


It is our aim this year to achieve this environmental standard to meet the changes in legislation and to support our customers. Our focus will be on energy consumption looking at achieving the optimum use of electricity and fuel in our warehouse and transport processes and to the following industry standards to limit our impact on the environment.

Soil Association Organic Certification

To meet customer requirements we are accredited and registered to the Soil Association’s Organic Standards to ensure product integrity for Organic Products.
